At JustFab, I worked on daily e-mails that were based on the theme of the season. Newsletter would entail topics such as clothing trends, shoe trends, must-have bags, and special promotions. I would come up with subject lines, headlines, call to action and all copy […]

While bell sleeve may be in, for those who aren’t experiencing the cold temperatures just yet, the slit sleeve is a great alternative (or for those who are just not really loving the bell thang). It’s sexy. It’s stylish and it has an element of surprise. Personally I like it for going out. You can pair it with a suede skirt or skinny jeans like I have. I bought this sexy little number at Forever 21 when I was trying to find a cute brunch outfit (cause duh weekends). The crossover front begs for a bralette, so you gotta wear something lacey underneath. I paired it with black skinny jeans from J Brand and a pair of Cole Haan booties that are seriously perfect for fall.
As part of my birthday adventures I set out to go to dinner somewhere that had the best Italian I could have. While this was definitely a hard task since everything in Portland is amazing and well it’s all a matter of opinion, a former colleague informed me that I MUST try Ava Gene’s. I made reservations about a month and a half in advance as it’s a pretty busy place to dine at.

As my first blog post, I’m going to take it back to August when I was in LA and had brunch with my favorite bloggers babes.
Many of you may know me as Fashionista Socialite but after some time now I decided to part ways with that blog and start a new one that’s about all my brunch and food adventures with a little bit of style and travel.
The name is a combination of brunch and fashionista. A name I came up with actually on a business trip in San Diego and after some time of thinking about it it stuck. For me brunch has always been my favorite things to do on the weekends and dress up for. I’m my friends “go-to” brunchess who they can always count on to pick yummy spots to eat at.
