A Delicious Brunch On The Coast – The Meridian Restaurant & Bar
I hope you all had a great weekend. As you know, a few weeks ago I went on a little mini vacation on the Oregon coast, Pacific City to be exact. A beautiful, quaint town with a gorgeous lodge called Headlands. Part two of that traveling series is the amazing brunch we had at The Meridian Restaurant & Bar.
With sky high windows, Oregon wood throughout the restaurant and exposed beams, the stylish dining experience is what really made it feel like home to me. We had actually stopped by the night we arrived for a drink at one of the gorgeous fireplace seating areas in the restaurant. The bustling noise of people chatting about their weekend adventures as they sipped on wine and enjoyed fresh seafood. It made me so excited for brunch the next day.
My hardest decision to be honest, was deciding on what to eat. Do I get pancakes? Do I get bagel and lox? I ended up going for both. I know! Sometimes you just want it all. Honestly everything looked so amazing but I wish I had gone for the eggs benedict! This was my first time not ordering that. Buttermilk pancakes were calling my name and of course a mimosa.
My boyfriend ordered the steak and eggs with an Oregonian beer. His plate was seriously so good! He always orders the best things and I always go for safe. It’s our running joke every time we go out for brunch.
Overall, I had an amazing experience at Headlands and the food was fantastic. I loved that it was also a bar you could go to at night. There’s plenty to do if you stay there from dining, to wine, hiking and beer tasting. It’s a great little getaway.
I hope you all enjoyed this second part in my travel series.

What makes you feel at home when you go to a restaurant? Is it ordering the same thing? The decor?
