Catch LA – Blogger Brunch

Hello darlings,
Last week was a crazy week for me. I left Sunday for a work trip to Las Vegas and then headed to Los Angeles on Thursday. The purpose of my trip was to see some family, hang out with close friends and catch up with some blogger babes. Despite being there for three full days it felt much longer — I’m thinking that was due to the crazy rain.
As some of you may know, when I lived in LA I held monthly blogger brunches — a tradition I have brought here to the PNW to connect with other fellow bloggers and create a community. So on my last day in LA, I spent my Sunday with an old friend, The Boho Socialite, and new friends Charity Girl Problems and The Gilded Bellini.
I had been hearing all this buzz about Catch in Los Angeles — the gorgeous view, the amazing food, etc. We decided to go to brunch despite the crazy rain. Of course the day we decide to go it’s pouring but despite the weather it did not kill our spirits nor the need for amazingly delicious food.
We all got a little bit of something different. From sweet to savory to something a little more standard, we definitely had a taste of what Catch has to offer for brunch. Go on and take a look.
PS They’re known for their oysters but since I can’t have shellfish I opted for a standard brunch. I hear the lobster roll sandwich is good too.
Smashed Organic Avocado Toast: pomegranate seed, toasted almond, roasted tomato, poached organic egg, toasted seven grain
Fine Herb Omelette: tomato, arugula, goat cheese
Cinnamon Roll Pancakes: brown-sugar cinnamon roll, candied almond, cream cheese frosting
Gluten-free Eggs Benedict: Canadian bacon and homestyle fries
I usually go for an eggs Benedict but I figured I’d switch it up this time and I’m glad I did. Sometimes a good omelette is all you need.
Also, Mickey of The Boho Socialite mentioned that the pancakes were OUT OF THIS WORLD!
Hope you all had an amazing weekend! Stay tuned for my next blogger brunch!
xxo

Monthly blogger brunch sounds like a great idea. And this place looks amazing, I love all the food I see here. But I love shellfish, so if I visit, I will have to try their oysters and lobster roll.

The point you just had dinner and got hungry again, just by looking at some foodpics. UGH! Blogger brunches are the best. Except… when you have something warm, because it will be cold after the 1000 pictures haha. XO Charissa – http://www.ladygoldapple.com
You ladies certainly chose a good brunch spot! It was challenging to get to the end of your post without drooling 😉 The eggs benedict looks so yummy
