End of the Year Chill

Hello darlings,

As I was thinking about what I would make my last post about, I realized that this will be my last post for 2016.

I spent this past weekend reflecting on what the last six months have brought and what has come of this blog that I just started about two and a half months ago.  I realized how much has changed. I mean I stood out in 30 degree weather taking pictures with two other friends while I was freezing my butt off.

It is this time in which I call the” end of the year chill”, where I’ve had some harsh realities — one of which is that I no longer live in LA. I will no longer see familiar faces when I’m out at brunch or shopping at the Grove/Americana during the holidays. But it also comes with a nice resounding closure seeing how much I’ve transformed myself, my blogging and my career. I ask all of you to think about the things you love the most, the big accomplishments you’ve made this year and think about how amazing you are because despite what everyone is saying, 2016 wasn’t bad. It was just full of change and that’s something to embrace.

On a lighter note, I’m done being all sentimental — so take a look of some photos of me in a parka that is literally my savior. I got it at Ross cause who pays for things at retail price right? It’s DKNY and it’s waterproof. Exactly what I needed. You can actually find the olive green version of this at Nordstrom rack right now. I’m also wearing my new fave stacking pieces by Pure Vida that are a little reminders to remain positive no matter what life throws at me.

{H&M tunic, Splendid top, Olivia & Joy knee high socks, BCBGeneration boots and bag}

If you’re wondering how I didn’t turn into an icicle, I honestly have no idea.

Also you can get your own Pure Vida bracelet using my code BRUNCHINISTA20 to get 20% off!

Now that’s something worth celebrating! What are some of your accomplishments/goals?

What will you do to end the year on a positive note?

Let me know in the comments.

But I guess the upside is that you get to meet new people, experience cool new places and start new traditions of your own. I hope you have an amazing 2017! 🙂
