Lena’s Kitchen Garden Party

Lena’s Kitchen Garden Party

Hello lovelies!

Over the weekend, I had the pleasure of attending Lena’s Kitchen Garden Party in Portland. It was a day filled with blogger fun hosted by Kroger, Hershey’s, and Reeses.

The day started off with all of us getting to know each other while we sipped on rosé from Fleur de Mer and prosecco from La Marca. I’m more of a rosé gal so I opted for the Fleur de Mer whilst taking photos in front of the flower wall. Outside was a beautiful garden oasis featuring a bar cart filled with sparkling water, a fireplace with a s’mores station courtesy of Hershey’s and Reeses and tables awaiting the flower crown workshop.

While I’m not a crafty person, I did my best in creating a flower crown. It turned out a little Frida Kahlo but it was the perfect spring addition for photos in the garden.

After the flower crown workshop, we indulged in some of the most delish sandwiches I’ve ever had. It was all part of the Red, White and BBQ theme hosted by Kroger. From lox sandwiches to egg salad sandwiches and a prosciutto with cheese sandwich, I literally couldn’t figure out which one I love the most. Maybe the prosciutto with cheese? Regardless they were all delicious. Lena made THE most delicious pesto (no nuts) I’ve ever had. It was the perfect dipping for the chips that went with the sandwich.

Lastly, there was a peach and roasted grape platter over cheese. Is your mouth watering yet? I felt like I was in literal foodie heaven. I can’t even begin to tell you how delicious it all was.

We finished our day with a cake decorating class hosted by the lovely Olive and Artisan featuring Hershey’s and Reeses. Let me start by saying I am not a baker or decorator. I was really nervous at first with the outcome of my cake but I think I did pretty okay considering it was my first time. PS the cake was delicious and someone needs to take it away from me before I eat all of it.

I hope you all enjoyed this wonderful recap of Lena’s Kitchen Garden Party! Thank you so much to Lena for hosting all of us bloggers and all of the sponsors for making it happen! Make sure to check out Lena’s Kitchen Blog for all of the food and recipe inspo.

  • I am drooling reading this and looking at all the pics. How cute was this event and how yummy?! Everything from the desserts and those tdf cookies to the sandwiches and that grape and cheese concoction (what is that peach one too?), to the cake decorating (you did an amazing job by the way), looked perfect. This is my kind of party! I would love to attend one of these if they had one in SoCal! Such a fun and enticing event! xoxo, Christine
