I hope you all had an amazing weekend! Today I am celebrating my blogaversary! It has been a crazy year full of challenges, new beginnings, adventures and more! I’m here to share with you some thoughts on what that year has entailed and looking forward at what’s to come for the next year!
This first year really was a growing year for me. While I have technically been blogging or over five years, I never really got full force into it until last October. I rebranded myself, I put all of my energy into it and even when I wanted to give up I keep pushing through the pain. The pain of not knowing where I was going but knowing I was onto something. The pain of dealing with social media and all of it’s ups and downs. And the pain of actually coming to the realization that oh my gosh I’m 30 and I still have SO much to learn.
But you know what. Through ALL the BS. Through all of these pains and challenges and realizations, it hit me actually over the weekend. My brand is very unique. It’s ME. And no one can take that away from me. That’s why I push to write more heartfelt posts and if you’ve been following me on Instagram I’ve literally just been posting me as ME. No make-up. No filter. Living life because out of ALL of the feedback you all have given me, the one that has stuck with me is how real I am.
Do I know what the next year for entails for Brunchinista? I think it’s going to entail more food, more wine and more outfits! I know that it’s been a windy road of unpredictability but these are all the things I love. I love being your go to brunch guru, the person you ask about cozy, hobo chic clothes, and the girl that even after a year of not living in LA I’ll still get texts like, “where was that one place we went to that one time?” I live for that. I live for telling you what the best of the best is right now.
So there it is. 2018 is going to be all about the BEST and I hope you’ll join me along for the ride. For now he’s my favorite cozy turtleneck cashmere sweater that I literally just bought and want to live in forever. NOT SPONSORED just love it so much I want to share the love. I went to a local winery and thought to myself, camel goes good with red wine right? Literally this is my thought process. Scroll down for some beautiful scenery and wine love.
You ca find this gorgeous sweater at Naked Cashmere. The boots are from De Wulf which are my absolute fave right now while going through recovery. Made with genuine leather and a comfy natural latex sole that’s non-slip. The shoes I will be living in all season long!
What types of things would you like me to cover in the next year?
