The Newest Prosecco Slushy Cocktail You’ll Be Making All Summer Long

The Newest Prosecco Slushy Cocktail You’ll Be Making All Summer Long

Hello loves,

It’s finally getting hot here in Oregon! Hallelujah. With that being said, I got some motivation to make a delish slushy cocktail for all you guys! I know it’s been FOREVER, pardon my recipe absence. Remember how last year everyone was ALL about the rosé? I mean we still are but here’s a cocktail you’re going to make over and over again this summer. It’s super easy to make and it’s the most delish thing I’ve ever made.

Let me start by saying that up until recently I couldn’t even have strawberries (we’ll see how this drink treats me after today). So, now that I can I FINALLY made something that I’ve been dying to try/make.

Remember how frosé was all the hype last summer. Welcome the new summer cocktail, prosecco slushy. For those of you who don’t know, prosecco is a sparkling white wine that makes a perfect brunch substitute for a Bloody Mary or champagne. You all know how much I love wine, so it’s no surprise that a sparkling wine cocktail is right up my alley.

Here’s what you’ll need:

1 bottle of prosecco

fresh strawberries

simple syrup

I used 90 plus cellars prosecco for mine and bought most of my ingredients at Trader Joe’s. For the simple syrup, I made my own. I made a honey simple syrup with 1 cup honey and 1 cup water. You make it the same exact way you’d make simple syrup.

Prosecco Slushie Recipe

  • 2 cups prosecco
  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
  • 1 cup of ice
  • 1 1/2 cups of strawberries
  • 1 tbsp honey simple syrup
  • 1 shot of vodka

Mix all in a blender. Use lime and strawberry as garnish. Serve over wine glass or any that you desire. Straw optional.

That’s it! Seriously so easy to make and it tastes like summer in a cup! You can shop this prosecco sparkling wine here.

What are your favorite cocktails to have over the summer? What about during brunch?

Let me know in the comments below!

  • So I don’t drink alcohol but this slushy cocktail looks absolutely delicious. I can only imagine how good it tastes on a hot summers day. I am usually sipping on virgin Mojitos but I also love drinks made with blended strawberries so I have to try making a virgin version of this drink :).

It is mostly boys coming, but for the few of us gals coming together, I thought we should have a little lady drink! You just answered my questions! Not to mention I’m a die hard for prosecco!
