The Only Sparkling Cocktail You’ll Need For The Holidays

The Only Sparkling Cocktail You’ll Need For The Holidays

Hello darlings,

One of my favorite things to do recently is make cocktails.

While I am in the wine and beer capitol, I do love the occasionally homemade cocktail. It started with making the basics like margaritas and thinking of my own things I could create. Pinterest is also good for some amazing inspiration. I collaborated with OneHope Wine this season to bring to you a Blackberry Sparkler and Pomegranate Sparkler.  If you don’t love sweets, you can always use rosemary and blackberry for garnish– it taste just as good. For this I’m using the sparkling wine from OneHope that’s part of their #GlitterSeason collection (absolutely love the bottle and keeping it for after using it). Take a look at this perfect sparkly cocktail to get you through the holidays!

On the real though, if someone gave me this for Christmas I would be so happy. I think it’s the perfect gift for sparkling wine lovers. The bottle is super cute too. What you’ll need for this cocktail is sugar, blackberries, rosemary, and pomegranate juice.

Blackberry Sparkler

  • 1 cup fresh blackberries
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 sprigs fresh rosemary
  • 1 bottle of sparkling wine

In a small saucepan, combine blackberries, sugar, and water. Bring to a boil on high heat, and then reduce to a simmer.Cook for approximately 15-17 minutes. The blackberries will become soft and bright in color. Take off of the heat and drain the blackberries, keeping the syrup in a separate bowl. Set both aside and allow to cool. Once cooled, spoon about 2 tablesppons at the bottom of the champagne flute. Top with sparkling wine (if you do this correctly and slowly you’ll get a sort of ombre effect). Garnish with a spring of rosemary and use a striped straw.

Pomegranate Sparkler

  • Pom Wonderful Juice
  • 1 bottle of sparkling wine
  • 1 sprig of fresh rosemary

Classic Sparkler

  • 1 bottle of sparkling wine
  • 1  spring of fresh rosemary
  • 1 blackberry for garnish.

So you could really have just about any of these three which is perfect for all kinds of drinkers. My friend loved the blackberry sparkler while I loved the pomegranate sparkler and the classic. Which sparkler would you make for your guests?

Let me know in the comments below.

*Note: I have collaborated with OneHope wine for this free product to review. All opinions are my own.
