The Knit Effect

The Knit Effect

Hello darlings,

Happy Friday! So happy it’s the weekend. You know what that means? Yeah I’m hitting up brunch tomorrow (I swear I’m addicted).

While I was in Portland, one of my favorite outfits was a crop top from LF and a skater skirt from H&M. I wore it with leggings because I knew it would be cold and gloomy out and I had a long day ahead of me. Also the cool thing about wearing the leggings, you can always take them off if it gets too warm (which actually it did). Anyway, we all know I’m notorious for wearing black all the time but I figured I had to wear white RIGHT before Labor Day — does anyone even follow that rule anymore? I paired it with my new favorite lacey bralette from Victoria’s Secret ( I know totally random but OMG it’s so awesome) and topped it off with my leather jacket. My booties which I should seriously retire but I wear them everywhere cause they’re comfortable and they saved me when I was walking around in Soho last year meeting up with PR peeps so I refuse to let go of them. They’re Steve Madden and I got them for a steal. Sadly I will not be wearing anything this flirty this weekend because it’s raining. Scroll through to see my fave knit top paired with a cute little skirt.

Also, since I don’t believe in paying retail for anything I got this at their store off of Melrose cause let’s be honest LF is pretty expensive and I got this top for $20 ish. I’d say that’s a deal.

I know summer is over (wahhhh), but I’ll be wearing ensemble out the next time I see the sun come up which should be sometime next week.

Hope you all have an amazing weekend.

xxo,

Jacqueline
