White Dry Cider Cocktail That’s Better Than Sangria

White Dry Cider Cocktail That’s Better Than Sangria

Hello darlings,

Lately I’ve been on this making cocktails kick. With the temps warming up and the sun shining a little more, this white dry cider cocktail recipe is the perfect refreshing companion for a warm spring day and less sugary than a sangria.

For those of you who hate the taste of alcohol, this drink is for you. I wanted to do something light, but also with a nice little kick. I’ve collaborated with Wolffer Estate Vineyards featuring Wolffer No. 139 white dry cider for this recipe.

What you’ll need for the recipe:

-1/2 a bottle of white dry cider

-1/4 cup of hard apple cider

-2 sprigs of rosemary

-1 honey crisp apple

In a cocktail shaker, mix half a sliced apple, rosemary, 1/2 cup of dry white cider, 1/4 cup of hard apple cider and ice. Pour cocktail into a cup. Add slices and rosemary for garnish.

*Special thanks to Wolffer Estate for sending me this free product to review. All opinions are my own.

It’s the perfect combination of apple, rosemary and dry white cider. Not too sweet with a hint of spice. I’m not a big fan of overly sweet cocktails and I always like to add a hint of a spice to spruce it up. If you’re not a fan of rosemary you can substitute that with thyme. Want more alcohol? Add some rum to your liking. You can’t ever go wrong with a little rum.

Would you indulge in this white dry cider cocktail?

  • Yes please!!!! Cheers babe!
I love Sangria, so to imagine something better than sangria it’s hard for me, but I’m definitely drooling over this white cider cocktail.
So easy to prepare and looks so refreshing and perfect for the warmer days coming up. Thanks for sharing!

  • With temperatures warming up I’m really looking forward to having a refreshing cider every now and then and this definitely is an option to be taken into consideration as it sounds both fresh and not too sweet (if it’s too sweet I just get thirsty, funnily enough).
    Thanks for a lovely recipe!

  • I love discovering new cocktails to try and I would definitely give this white dry cider cocktail a try. It also sounds like a drink my fiancé would enjoy too because he also doesn’t like drinks that are too sweet. I would add more rum though. Huge rum and tequila fan over here 😉

  • This looks so yummy! I’m horrible at making drinks but oddly enough I was a bartended in college… I can sure pour a beer though. lol I definitely need to add these things to my shopping cart on my next grocery trip! I am not too picky when it comes to alcoholic drinks as I don’t mind tasting alcohol but this is a perfect drink I think for a party or for entertaining because you know everyone will love it!

  • Personally I don’t like alcoholic drinks with a strong taste of alcohol to it. This drink You created sounds like the perfect cocktail drink. I agree that I usually don’t like when they’re just way too sweet in flavor. I’m intrigued by the slight taste of spice that you mentioned in this drink. I can’t wait to try and make this on my own, thanks for the recipe and the tips !

  • This drink looks so delicious, I love apple cider and this spiked dry cider version is def a must try. Thank you for the step by step recipe, I have to try this in the next few weekends.

Loved this post!! I’ve always been so in awe of your red hair and wondered how much is the upkeep and now I’ve had my answer. I just recently died my hair for the first time and it has been such a great experience and lead me to think about more daring options (not as daring as red of course). You are correct that colored hair has so much maintenance to keep the color as long as possible and having 2 kids at home and my 10 min shower routine is def not the way to go. But I will always refer back to this post if I do decide to do more colors.

  • This looks like a great drink for ladies night!! I think this recipe looks super simple as well, which is nice. Sometimes it’s hard to keep drink recipes straight if there is too much involved. I think it’s very interesting that rosemary is added to the drink. I don’t always do fancy drinks so this is new to me. I like it though. I should really start looking more into fancy drink recipes. This post as inspired me to do so.
